LUXURIOUS country living near some of the Top End’s best fishing spots is up for grabs in this 2ha Wagait Beach property.
No. 40 De Lissa Drive, Wagait Beach, has hit the market for a price range between $1.15m and $1.35m with Raine & Horne Darwin.
The four-bedroom, two-bathroom, fully-fenced property is a 15-minute ferry ride from Darwin CBD and is a short walk or drive to the beach.
Raine & Horne sales consultant Byron Wauchope said the property was a rare rural gem and would likely attract attention from southerners seeking an escape from lockdown.

“The current owners have loved living in this inspired coastal haven home for close to 17 years and are only moving to be closer to family,” he said.
The home has a separate office/study, two living areas, a plunge pool with stunning views of Top End sunsets and an industrial-grade shed.
Raine & Horne general manager Glenn Grantham said the property would appeal to semi-retirees, those wanting to work in Darwin but want a country lifestyle, or people looking to escape interstate lockdowns.
“Many down-south refugees are buying rural property in the Northern Territory now to escape the Covid environment, and this unique property represents their perfect isolation opportunity,” he said.
“The major exception with owning at Wagait Beach is that the commute home is on a ferry to Mandorah, which is not dissimilar to those travelling between Manly and the Sydney CBD.”
