Townsville crime: Two cars stolen from Mount Louisa, another found set alight

Police are on the hunt for the thieves responsible for stealing two cars from a home in Mount Louisa, while another stolen car was found dumped and set on fire. See the pictures.

Police are on the hunt for the thieves responsible for stealing two cars from a home in Mount Louisa, while another stolen car was found dumped and set on fire.

Police were called to a break-in at an address on Ulysses Drive, Mount Louisa, at 1.45am on Thursday.

On the way to the scene, officers located another stolen vehicle on fire on Liberty Drive.

Emergency services attended, and the fire was extinguished.

The vehicle had been reported stolen from a McKinley Street address at North Ward on Tuesday, October 18.

The two vehicles that were stolen from the Ulysses Drive break-in, a white Subaru Outback and red Toyota Camry, remain outstanding.

Police said investigations remain ongoing.
