Four charged after stolen car spree around the Townsville region on Sunday

Queensland police have charged two teens and two adults following several stolen vehicle incidents around Townsville over the weekend.
Police will allege that a 39-year-old West End woman was approached by two people, not known to her, about 2.30pm on Sunday, who stole her vehicle which was parked along Henry St, Kirwan.
Police tracked the Toyota Camry as it drove dangerously in a convoy with a Ford Ranger utility.
The utility was abandoned along Boundary St with its occupants alleged to have left on foot before entering the Toyota Camry.
Police continued to track the vehicle to Kelso where a tyre deflation device was successfully deployed at approximately 6.30pm.
A short time later two teenagers were taken into police custody along Ross River Rd.
A 15-year-old Palm Island boy was charged with one count of robbery, and two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle, while a 14-year-old Vincent boy was charged with one count of robbery and two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle.
Police opposed the bail of both boys who were due to appear at Townsville Children’s Court on Monday.
Two men allegedly linked to the stolen vehicle incidents were also taken into custody at a Gower St property in Kelso on Sunday about 7pm.
A 24-year-old Palm Island man was charged with one count of robbery and two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle.
An 18-year-old Palm Island man has been charged with five counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts each of attempted enter dwelling and driving without a licence, one count each of unlawful possession of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a vehicle, enter premises with intent, robbery, and stealing.
Police opposed bail for both men, who were due to appear at Townsville Magistrates Court on Monday.
