A TOURIST has described getting “bang for our buck” when a tour guide on the Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruise fell into the Adelaide River last Saturday.
The guide was not physically injured.
In the five-star rated review posted to TripAdvisor, the tourist said everyone panicked when the woman fell overboard.
It’s not known if she was feeding the crocs when she fell into the water.
“We got bang for our buck the day that we went when one of the tour guides accidentally fell into the river — everyone was in a panic but thankfully she was fine with the help of the very experienced and quick-thinking staff on the tour,” the tourist said.
“Overall, great staff, very entertaining and you definitely get to see the crocs jump!”
The incident could have ended a lot differently though as the Adelaide River teems with saltwater crocs who swim up to the tour boats daily for a feed.
A NT WorkSafe spokesman said it had received a complaint from a member of the public.
The manager of Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruise declined an interview, only to say the woman got wet and that was all.
The manager said that the appropriate reports had been made.
