The Barkly Homestead Roadhouse will reopen this week after two weeks of cleaning its fire-devastated structures.
Manager Ryan Brennan said the iconic pit-stop would open for fuel and accommodation at 6am on Wednesday, December 7.
”Then, we’ll be doing food, hopefully, on Thursday night,” he said.
“We’ve gutted the kitchen and have a mobile one in for the time being.”
Mr Brennan said he did not expect the Roadhouse’s reopening to be busy.
Travellers and community members took to Facebook to express their excitement about the business reopening.
“Wow, after telling everyone closed indefinitely and now opening in couple of days is fantastic news,” Jan Allen wrote.
“Can’t believe how quickly you are up and running again, excellent news and well done all,” Amanda Lovelady said.

Employees and community members aided in extinguishing the fire.
Local police and a fire investigator were deployed to the Tablelands roadhouse from Alice Springs.
