THE NT News’ list revealing the 30 most influential Alice Springs locals under the age of 30 highlights the diversity and passion of workers in the Central Australia town.
From photographers to doctors, the wide range of professions performed by youthful Territorians in The Red Centre outline the bright future for the region.
All of those who made it onto the list have shown a strong passion not only for their occupations, but for how what they do will positively impact their community.
The list is not in any particular order as the devoted locals have such a wide range of skills and means to help others in The Red Centre that are all profound in their own way.
Max Sandler, who was named in the list, said he moved to Alice Springs looking for some real life experience.
“I always wanted to go to the Outback, and so Alice Springs was the perfect opportunity,” he said.
“I’m currently working as a teaching assistant at Yirara College, an Aboriginal boarding school.
“It has been great, an absolute eye-opener, and a fantastic opportunity to learn about Aboriginal Australia.”
