JAILED real estate agent Chris Deutrom and ATM scammers Aimee Pitman and Colin Voeuk are among five former NT company directors to be struck off by the corporate regulator.
The Australian Security and Investment Commission announced on Wednesday that the three had been banned from managing companies as a result of their fraud convictions.

The other two men slapped with bans by the corporate watchdog were Walter Wilton — jailed in February for his part in fleecing Royal Darwin Hospital of almost $150,000 — and Palmerston painter Anthony John Lyness.
ASIC commissioner John Price said Wilton and the three other fraudsters were struck off following their convictions for dishonesty offences while Lyness was pinged for his involvement in two failed companies.

“If you are a director of a company and are convicted of a crime that involves dishonesty, you should remove yourself as a director immediately,” he said.
“Where ASIC becomes aware of this, we will remove those persons from the national corporate register.”
