Allora Gardens Nursery managing director Estelle Cornell said they hosted a Garden RELEAF event last year and received an “absolutely wonderful” response from the community.
“It is one of the greatest things to be involved with,” she said.
“Get in the garden, have fun and de-stress your life.”
Ms Cornell said the event would be a lot of fun, and the nursery would offer face painting for kids, a mini gardener’s workshop, and cafe specials, as well as a sausage sizzle.
Visitors are encouraged to make a gold coin donation to participate in the activities and write a note and pin it to the Tree of Hope in the Allora Gardens Nursery Carpark.
The “Something Blue” themed event is on April 9 and April 10. The nursery will be open from 9am – 4.30pm with activities running from 10am – 2pm.
Garden RELEAF raised $70,000 for beyondblue in 2015.
Territorians can fill in an entry form to win a $4950 travel voucher from Botanica World Discoveries.
