Stolen car used in Morphett Vale supermarket ram raid smashes into police patrol
Four 16-year-olds are expected to be charged with serious driving offences after they rammed into a patrol vehicle while trying to escape police.

A group of teenagers have been caught in a stolen Prado which was used in a ram raid at Morphett Vale earlier this week.
On Wednesday, November 29 police were called to a Foodland supermarket on Main South Rd after a Toyota Prado smashed through the front window with up to four people entering the store and stealing items.
When police arrived, the suspects had left in the car, which had been stolen from a Kings Park home overnight between November 15 and 16.
At about 1am this morning, Friday, December 1, police spotted the stolen Prado travelling along Main South Rd, Morphett Vale.
PolAir were already in the air and tracked the car through the backstreets of Craigburn Farm before turning onto Bonython Way where police patrols swarmed in, blocking the exits.
In an effort to escape, the Prado rammed a police vehicle and the four occupants ran off before patrols caught two occupants and police dog Bomber found the remaining two teenagers hiding in a front yard.
Four 16-year-olds were arrested and they are expected to be charged with serious driving offences, including driving unlicensed.
Police are investigating if these boys were involved in the Morphett Vale ram raid.
