SA Police Senior Constable Matt Browne told ABC radio the speeding rider was caught at a busy time of the day with lots of activity on the roads.

“At that time of the day, there’s plenty of big trucks, lots of cars and people getting around just on their daily commute,” he said.

When police stopped him outside the takeaway shop, the 28-year-old Wingfield man told the police that he had just zoomed out literally on his lunch break.

Senior Constable Browne issued some advice.

“Now I’ve got a bit of a calculation here and that amount of money will get you about 90 chicken schnitzel packs that man’s going to miss out on.

“So it should have just stayed at work and ordered some Uber Eats perhaps.”
