An award-winning Savvy B — made in South Australia — is making a name for itself overseas.

And it will only set you back $22.

The Taylors Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2024 has bagged top spot at the prestigious Mundus Vini Grand International Wine Award in Germany.

Clare Valley-based Taylors Wines claimed the Trophy for Best of Show Australia White and Gold Medal in Germany’s most important wine competition, along with three other gold medals across its portfolio.

The winemaker behind Taylors Wines, Mitchell Taylor said it was great to see SA wines recognised on the world stage.

“Seeing Australian wines continue to succeed globally at awards such as Mundus Vini is incredibly exciting for not only us here at Taylors, but for the greater Australian wine industry,” said Mr Taylor.

“South Australian wine continues to excel, and it’s so exciting to watch both as a producer and also as an appreciator of the fine wine this state has to offer.

“Accolades like these help shine the spotlight on our wines globally and provide us the opportunity to speak about our wines and the stories behind them.”

The wine has been described as a “crisp white wine boasting aromas of tropical fruit such as passionfruit, guava, and honeydew”.

The Taylors Estate Label Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is available to purchase from fine wine retailers, Taylors Clare Valley Cellar Door and the winery’s website.
