A man accused of causing a disturbance on an Adelaide train will face court after police allege they found a variety of drugs on him, including methamphetamine and liquid GHB.

A man who is accused of causing a disturbance on an Adelaide train will face court after attending police allege they found him to be in possession of drugs.

Police were called to the Oaklands Railway Station just before midnight on Saturday with reports the man was causing a disturbance and the train was being held at the station for police.

Police allege the man provided a false name to officers but checks on the man’s real identify revealed he had a warrant and was breaching his bail.

Police say a search also revealed he was in possession of a quantity of cannabis, methamphetamine and liquid GHB, as well as scales and drug paraphernalia.

The 43-year-old Christie Downs man was arrested and charged with breach of bail, state false personal details and two counts of possess a controlled drug.

The warrant did not allow bail and the man will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday.
