Man, 38, in critical condition after being struck by car at Paradise

A man has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after being struck by a car at Paradise on Thursday night.
Just before midnight, emergency services were called to Darley Rd about midnight on Thursday.
The pedestrian, a 38-year-old Rostrevor man, was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is being treated while the driver of the Toyota sedan, a 58-year-old Norton Summit man, was not injured.
Major Crash investigators attended the scene to assist patrols examine the scene and investigate the crash.
The car was towed from the scene and the road reopened at 6am.
