‘Good and gentle’ Scott Collingridge, 55, from Aldinga Beach killed in Wattle Flat crash
Family and friends of a ‘true blue’ motorcyclist killed in a collision south of Adelaide on Saturday have paid tribute to the ‘kind hearted, gentle, sweet man’.

The South Australian motorcycle community is grieving the loss of a beloved rider killed in a collision south of Adelaide over the weekend.
Scott Collingridge, 55 from Aldinga Beach, was riding on Saturday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with a car on Main South Rd in Wattle Flat.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 2.50pm, but despite the best efforts of paramedics, Mr Collingridge died at the scene.
Mr Collingridge’s partner Nicky Brown told The Advertiser he was already “so deeply missed” by the social motorcycle club community.
“Scott was a well respected man by many in the SMC world,” she said.
“He loved with all of his heart, and was a dad to my daughters Maddy and Tessa as if they were his own.
“We are absolutely shocked and devastated by this.
“He was a kind hearted, gentle, sweet man who loved his dachshund Lily and our family with his whole heart.
“We love him so much, and he is already so deeply missed.”
On Sunday, friends and family took to social media to farewell a “good and gentle soul”.
“Condolences go out to Scott Collingridge’s family and loved ones,” a post in the Australian Social Motorcycle Club Facebook group read.
“Rest in peace Doxie,” one person said.
“A good and gentle soul gone too soon.”
His death came on a horror weekend for SA drivers, with two other people losing their lives on the same weekend.
