Family and friends leave tributes for young boy killed in tragic incident at Tyrepower Elizabeth

A “cheeky” child who was tragically killed when he was struck in a northern suburbs car park has been remembered as “a true blessing in typical boy form”.
Family and strangers have left tributes including flowers, a children’s football and a little monster truck at Tyrepower Elizabeth where the boy died at the scene on Friday.
One person sticky-taped a note to the fence describing the young northern suburbs child as a “blessing”.
“The world lost part of its sunshine today,” they wrote.
“Your beautiful, cheeky smile will be missed by so many. You were such a light to everyone who knew you. A true blessing in typical boy form.
“Love you always, my chunky.”
Cluse Bros Tyrepower Elizabeth, located on Peachey Rd, has closed its gates with a sign informing customers it was closed on Saturday.
It is redirected existing bookings to another store at Elizabeth Way.
Emergency services were called to Cluse Bros Elizabeth tyre shop, located on Peachey Rd, after receiving reports a Toyota station wagon had collided with a child, just after 11am.
Despite paramedics best efforts, the little boy died on the scene.
The child’s death is the 35th life lost on South Australian roads this year.
