Dog walker called out for defecating on Kensington Gardens driveway

First came the poo jogger. Now, Adelaide has its driveway defecator in the eastern suburbs. But who is the mystery woman?

Who is the Brighton 'poo-jogger'?

A frustrated Adelaide family has threatened to go public with embarrassing images of a woman caught defecating in their private driveway if she didn’t return to clean up her stinky act.

The human excrement was allegedly left on the driveway on the morning of April 26, with a number of signs popping up along Glynburn Rd, and reportedly other nearby streets, around Kensington Gardens since then.

“To the lady who defecated on our driveway,” the signs read.

“At approximately 7:15am this morning (26 April), while walking your dog, you were recorded on our security cameras, defecating on our private driveway.

“We have clear video footage of the incident. You have 48 hours to return and properly clean up the mess.

“If not, we will have no choice but to circulate photos from the footage to identify you. Please do the right thing.”

In 2019, residents in Dulwich – also in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs – were trying to find who was defecating on Brunswick Ln.

The newest incident is the latest in an increasing number of stool-related scandals to hit the country, which include unrelated poo joggers in Brisbane and Sydney.

Residents living in the area were both amused and shocked by the situation.

“We all think it’s obviously sad for the people that it happened to,” said one local, who asked to remain anonymous.

“But I assume the person in the position was stuck.”

She said her teenagers, who also spotted the signs, thought the signs were “hilarious”.

“One of them was in complete disbelief,” she said.

She hoped an update on the situation was coming.
