A car and motorcycle collision on Salisbury Highway in Green Fields has left a rider in hospital fighting for life
A major crash in Adelaide’s north has left a motorbike rider fighting for life.

A collision between a car and a motorcycle at Green Fields has left the rider in critical condition this afternoon.
At about 2.10pm today, SAPOL and emergency services were called to the intersection of Salisbury Highway and Ryans Road.
An elderly driver was behind the wheel of the vehicle and was treated for minor injuries at the scene before being sent to Lyell McEwin Hospital.
The motorbike rider was also treated at the scene before being rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Traffic delays were in place as northbound traffic on Salisbury Highway was down to one lane.
Motorists have been advised to avoid these roads as major crash investigators are attending to the scene.
