An elderly driver has pleaded guilty to causing a crash that killed an 85-year-old Rosewater woman in February last year.

An elderly man has pleaded guilty to causing a crash that killed an 85-year-old pedestrian in Woodville South last year.
Elemer Dobak, 88, appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday where he entered a plea of guilty to one charge of cause death by dangerous driving over a crash that killed 85-year-old Joan McCaskill on February 27, 2023.
Emergency services were called to Woodville Rd just before 12.30pm following reports a car had collided with a pedestrian.
Ms McCaskill, of Rosewater, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life threatening injuries where she sadly died a week later.
Dobak, of Findon, was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after the crash for a routine assessment.
Dobak will next appear in the District Court for sentencing submissions next month.
