Police raid Western Downs property at Ducklo to find huge amount of stolen tools and vehicle

The raid uncovered a trove of expensive powers tools, several vehicles and a caravan that had all been allegedly stolen in recent months.

Police raided a Ducklo property and uncovered a large amount of stolen tools and vehicles.

Western Downs police have recovered a mammoth haul of allegedly stolen power tools and vehicles after they raided a Ducklo property on Monday.

The items were allegedly stolen from nearby properties in recent months.

Detective Inspector Gary Watts said he was confident police would be able to return the bulk of the items to their lawful owners.

“They include, expensive tools, caravans and vehicles,” he said.

“It really is a vast array of items.

“They would be worth hundreds of the thousands of dollars.”

Police have charged a 24-year-old with seven counts of entering a premises with intent and he was due before Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
