‘100 people waiting for help’: New shock ambulance ramping claim
The state opposition has sensationally claimed that 100 ambulance jobs were left unanswered on Monday night due to Queensland’s worsening ramping crisis.

Opposition Leader David Crisafulli has weighed in on Queensland’s ambulance ramping issues, claiming on social media that more than 100 ambulance jobs were left unanswered on Monday night.
Mr Crisafulli posted a photo showing a full ambulance waiting bay at the Prince Charles Hospital about 6pm, along with a caption claiming “ambulance insiders” had revealed to him the backlog of jobs across Brisbane.
“This means there’s more than 100 people waiting for help,” he wrote. “It means Queenslanders are being forced to wait for urgent care in their time of need. And this is why – ramping.”
Queensland Health said hospitals would not turn away emergency patients, and staff would “always attend to the sickest patients first”.
Within the hour, Mr Crisafulli had posted a follow-up status, taking direct aim at the Palaszczuk government.
The post showed two photos of a full waiting bay at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
“And here’s the RBWH tonight … our hardworking paramedics are heroes,” the post said.
“Right now they’re being hindered from doing their jobs by a state government incapable of fixing the Queensland Health Crisis.”
