IT’S not just human beings doing their thing with scissors and razors, with Humpty Doo-based pomeranian Lucky rocking his mullet out.
He is one of the more unique entries into this year’s search for Australia’s Fiercest Bloody Mullet, with owner Holly Asquith keen to keep his hairstyle rocking after testing it out a few months ago.
Now she has given it a splash of food dye for colour in Lucky’s latest style move.
“I let it grow out for the first four months then trimmed it. But it’s better to do it in the Dry season otherwise it’s too hot,” she said.

“I think I just started doing it maybe a year ago, now I get it done every two months.”
Like many, Ms Asquith agrees that no matter how you maintain your mullet, it must be worn with confidence.
“The best thing is the length and just letting it grow and keeping it all neat,” she said.
“He’s a pretty confident dog all around.”
With the verdict still out, Ms Asquith is happy to leave it to Lucky to rock his locks.
