Woman found guilty of murdering Rosalie Edmonds, sister of Minister Bess Price

THE woman accused of fatally stabbing the sister of Minister Bess Price has been found guilty of her murder in the NT Supreme Court

THE woman accused of fatally stabbing the sister of Minister Bess Price has been found guilty of her murder in the NT Supreme Court.

The jury found Yvette Bennie, 33, guilty of stabbing Rosalie Edmonds with a kitchen knife at Warlpiri Camp near Katherine on April 29, 2014.

Minister Bess Price did not want to comment on the verdict today.

The court heard Bennie faced a life sentence with the possibility of parole after 20 years.

Bennie was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on Wednesday.
