VICKI O’Halloran AO has been reappointed as the Administrator for the Northern Territory for another two years.
Mrs O’Halloran was appointed as Administrator by then Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove in August 2017.
Regional Development and Territories Assistant Minister Nola Marino praised Mrs O’Halloran for her dedication to the NT community and innovative approach to the role.
“Her ongoing advocacy and passion for the people of the Northern Territory is clear, and I am delighted that she will continue to serve Territorians with such high distinction,” she said.
“Her Honour’s tireless advocacy work in the family services and disability sector is known across the community, as is her reputation as an impressive and distinguished representative of the Northern Territory.”

Vicki O’Halloran appointed new Northern Territory Administrator
In a statement on Facebook, Mrs O’Halloran said she was thrilled to continue her service in the role.
“It is an honour and a privilege for my husband, Craig and I to be asked to continue to serve the people of the Northern Territory,” she said.
“I greatly value the opportunity to celebrate and represent our diverse Territory population. I remain committed to an extensive community engagement program, serving and representing the people of the Territory locally and internationally.

“My family and I look forward to working with Official Secretary Mr Craig Kitchen and his team, in support of Territorians, and I look forward to welcoming many more Territorians to their Government House.”
Last April Mrs O’Halloran’s role was extended for a year by then Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove.
She will begin her extended term from October 31.
