Territory surpasses 110,000 interstate arrivals
LESS than a week after surpassing 100,000 arrivals, we’ve hit another milestone. It comes amid a wave of interest in domestic tourism in the NT.

OVER 110,000 people have flooded across the border and into Northern Territory since July 17.
According to the Northern Territory Government website, 55,861 people have arrived by air, 54,062 by road and 1,816 by sea or rail since borders reopened with most states and territories.

There are 713 people required to quarantine presently at Howard Springs and Alice Springs.
In total, 111,739 people have entered the Territory since border restrictions were lifted.
That milestone comes less than a week after the NT recorded surpassing 100,000 people.
There’s hope that the growing figure is the start of an interstate tourism wave to the Outback.
Uluru was ranked as a top three location must-see location by Lonely Planet in the past week, while travel provider Vacaay noted a surge in interest for Arnhem Land.
Barramundi also recently ranked in the top five most Instagrammed dishes.
Overall, 34 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Northern Territory since the pandemic began, all of whom have recovered.
