VISION has emerged of a vicious brawl in broad daylight at a major Darwin shopping centre as terrified shoppers and security guards watched on.

CHAOTIC scenes unfolded at Darwin’s largest shopping centre media showing a vicious and wild brawl between six youths as helpless shoppers watched on.

Vision has emerged of the incident on social media, which reportedly erupted this week at Casuarina Square, out the front of Betts.

The NT News understands the violent incident occurred on Wednesday.

Six youths were filmed battling it out on multiple fronts as horrified shoppers watched on.

In one picture posted to social media, a baby could be seen in a stroller being wheeled past the mayhem.

One of those involved in the altercation could be seen holding their face and lying on the ground as an assailant kicked them.

Security guards were also pictured intervening.

NT Police have been contacted for comment.

Social media users have erupted over the incident, labelling the participants as “drongos.”

“This sort of behaviour is very disturbing,” one poster said.

“While this sort of thing has been going on for decades, it has to stop.”

Another commenter speculated that the scenes unfolded due to food shortages.

“Must of been over a shortage of Ice coffee and salty plums,” they said.

One lady labelled the scenes as “disgraceful trailer-trash behaviour.”
