KINGS Canyon has long been referred to as one of the Territory’s best kept secrets in Central Australia.
While people rush to see the magnificence of Uluru there is another jewel – Kings Canyon – rising out of the desert that is breathtaking in every sense.
Mathilde Ceyrolle and Pauline Auffret (@backpack_withus) have shared this image with their international followers and it has won them $1000 as this week’s winner in the Airport Development Group’s (ADG) $25,000 TravelGateway website competition, being run in conjunction with the NT News.
The new ADG travel website helps people experience the North and all it offers and is giving people the chance to share their special places. Mathilde and Pauline said they couldn’t help but feel on top of the world as they walked along the towering red rock cliffs of Kings Canyon and took in views of the forest of palms below.
