TOP End Aboriginal artist Manuel Pamkal has long been capturing the hearts and minds of the thousands of visitors who share his Top Didj cultural experience in Katherine.

The Brolga award-winning guide with his beaming smile is more than just an amazing artist, he is a singer and storyteller happy to talk about growing up in the bush, cultural differences, tribal life and his family tree.

Jordan and Daniel are $1000 better off for being this week’s #travelgatewayau winner.

Jordan said Manuel’s life stories as an Aboriginal from the Dalabon tribe are extraordinary and touching.

“He taught us so much about his culture, family upbringing and how he got to where he is today,” Jordan said when submitting this picture of Manuel to the travelgateway.com.au website.

“Territorians are amazing, warm, caring, loving and helpful. We really understand why people call the NT home.”

Jordan’s advice to the rest of Australia is that the Northern Territory is absolutely breathtaking and should be on your future travel plans … make it your number one destination.

“You won’t be disappointed,” he said.
