Two new NT cases of COVID-19 diagnosed among returned Australians in quarantine

TWO repatriated Australians have tested positive for COVID-19 while in quarantine at Howard Springs.
A 64-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man, who arrived in the Territory from New Delhi on Tuesday, were diagnosed with the virus.
They remain under the care of the AUSMAT team at the Centre for National Resilience.

Since repatriation flights to the Northern Territory began on October 23, there have been 16 positive COVID-19 cases out of the 1001 international arrivals who have undertaken quarantine at the Howard Springs Centre for National Resilience.

The total number of cases diagnosed in the Northern Territory is 50.
All cases have been related to international or interstate travel, with no cases of community transmission.
