New NT COVID-19 case among repatriated Australians

A NEW case of COVID-19 has been recorded among the group of repatriated Australians in isolation at the Howard Springs quarantine facility.

A NEW case of COVID-19 has been recorded among the group of repatriated Australians in isolation at the Howard Springs quarantine facility.

The person, whose age and gender is unknown at this time, was diagnosed today.

According to the NT Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet, the case “relates to repatriation flights into the Northern Territory and the patient remains under the care of the AUSMAT team at the Centre for National Resilience”.

The case brings the total number of COVID-19 cases recorded among the 829 repatriated Australians to 14.

The NT currently has seven active cases of COVID-19, all acquired overseas by Australians who arrived in Darwin on earlier repatriation flights.
