THE Northern Territory will open its border up to NSW’s remaining active COVID-19 hot spots after the state recorded 14 days without a single local virus case.
Chief Minister Michael Gunner said hot spot declarations had been revoked, effective immediately, for nine NSW local government areas including Blacktown, Burwood, Canada Bay, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Inner West, Parramatta and Strathfield.
The hotspots have been in effect since January 1.
