ONE lucky Darwin resident has won more than $410,000 in the lotto at the weekend – but the winner may not know it yet.

The weekend’s TattsLotto draw, drawn on May 16, saw 12 division one winning entries across Australia, with one of those being sold at Leanyer Newsagency in Hibiscus Shoppingtown, Leanyer.

Each division one winner will take home $410,606.71.

The Leanyer entry is registered to a Tatts Card, but Tatts officials have so far been unable to make contact with the winner because the their contact details may be out of date.

The Lott spokeswoman Bronwyn Spencer urged anyone with a TattsLotto ticket in Saturday’s draw to check their tickets.

“You may not think it’s possible you could be the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased a registered entry in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance,” she said.

“We’re urging all TattsLotto players to check their entries as soon as possible and if you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket to contact Tatts on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

Leanyer Newsagency owner Robyn Wright said she was excited to have sold one of the winning tickets.

“I’ve been telling everyone we’ve sold a division one winning entry and encouraging all of our customers to check their tickets,” she said.

“This is the tenth division one winning entry we’ve sold at this outlet over the past 37 years. The last one was three years ago.

“All of our customers have been very excited for us and of course hoping it is their ticket.

“We hope we find our winner soon and we hope they are one of our regulars.”
