A woman has been hospitalised after she was struck by lightning during a wild storm over the Top End overnight.

A WOMAN has been hospitalised after she was struck by lightning during a storm in Berry Springs on Wednesday night.
The woman sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment.
St John Ambulance spokesman Craig Garroway said the woman was in a stable conditon and was recovering well.
“They made their way towards the hospital and were met by an ambulance,” he said.
