Man charged over alleged indecent assault of child inside shopping centre
Police have arrested and charged a man who allegedly indecently assaulted a child under 16 in a shopping centre.

POLICE have arrested and charged a 26-year-old man who allegedly indecently assaulted a child under the age of 16 in a shopping centre over the weekend.
Around 11am Saturday, police say they received a report that a female youth has been indecently assaulted by a man inside the shopping centre in the Alice Springs CBD.
Investigations by police lead to the identification of a man, who was located and arrested by police later that afternoon.
The man was charged with one count of aggravated assault – indecent assault – child under 16 years, and was remanded in custody to appear before the Alice Springs Local Court on Monday.
