In the days following the incident four men aged 17, 18 and 19 were arrested and charged by detectives from Strike Force Trident and Serious Crime. A second 18-year-old received charges from Strike Force Trident only.

On October 28 another 18-year-old man was arrested by Strike Force Trident.

Serious Crime Squad members charged him with one count of trespassing on premises, three counts of unlawful entry – dwelling, one count of stealing, two counts of damage to property, three counts of robbery – aggravated, two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle – aggravated and one count of unlawfully causing serious harm.

He was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court on Friday.

“The Serious Crime Squad along with Strike Force Trident have now charged four individuals in relation to this violent incident and investigations continue still,” said Detective Senior Sergeant Annette Cooper.

“The community can rest assured that we will continue to thoroughly investigate until everyone involved faces court for their actions, regardless of how much time has passed since the offending.”
