Malak caravan park resident assaulted, two others threatened by group of youths on the run

Caravan park residents were subjected to a frightening rampage by a group of youths this week with a resident assaulted and others threatened.

POLICE are calling for information after a group of youths assaulted a caravan park resident and threatened another two.

About 11pm on Tuesday in Malak, it was reported the youths assaulted one resident, threatened another two before trying to gain entry into vehicles and break into an occupied caravan.

The group dispersed after residents tried to intervene.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Brett Cottier said the group were still on the loose.

“Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed or who has information about this incident or the offenders involved,” he said.

“Please contact police on 131 444 and quote reference 9775472.”
