Jetstar launches Darwin to Bali cheap flights, fares as low as $135

Jetstar has announced cheap deals on its Darwin to Bali route weeks after its parent company slashed thousands of seats to Central Australia.
Jetstar chief executive officer Steph Tully said demand for Bali had continued to grow since flights resumed 12 months ago, with Jetstar carrying 1.1 million customers between Australia and the holiday hot spot in that timeframe.
“Demand for our flights to Bali is booming and we’re on track to carry 10 per cent more passengers between Australia and Bali in 2023 compared to 2019, as customers continue to prioritise travel post-Covid-19,” she said.
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of flights resuming to Indonesia, Jetstar has launched the “Air-mazing” Sale, marketed to include 400,000 sale fares for 35 destinations.
Northern Territory flights include Brisbane to Uluru one way from $116, and Darwin to Bali one-way from $135.
Other major deals include Syney to Melbourne from $45, Melbourne to New Castle from $59 and Adelaide to Hobart from $69.
It comes weeks after Qantas, which wholly owns Jetstar, slashed thousands of seats from Central Australian flights.
Earlier in the year, Jetstar was forced to land on the Alice Springs tarmac after a medical emergency on its Bangkok to Melbourne route.
