THREE men armed with rocks and sticks allegedly targeted a Palmerston business overnight, assaulting staff and attempting to steal alcohol.
NT Police said about 8.30pm the three men entered a Moulden business and began allegedly assaulting staff.

One of the offenders attempted to steal alcohol but was unsuccessful. All three men ran from the scene.
During the incident a male customer was chased from the store by one of the offenders, who allegedly threw rocks at him.
NT police arrested an 18-year-old man in relation to the incident. Strike Force Trident detectives charged him with two counts of assault with intent to steal, armed with weapon.

He is expected to face court today.
Investigations are continuing to arrest the other offenders.
