Gillen, East Side, Tennant Creek struck by break-ins
Foreign currency and a mobile phone were among the stolen items during a series of break-ins on Thursday.

FOREIGN currency and a mobile phone were among the stolen items as Central Australia was struck by five more break-ins on Thursday.
Alice Springs was the site of three break-ins including one at a home on Hibiscus St in East Side between 3.08 and 3.20pm on Thursday.
The offenders broke in through the front door taking an iPad, coins and foreign currency before taking off.
Another break-in saw a home on Ashwin St, Gillen targeted between 3.15 and 3.25pm with the point of entry being an unsecure front door.
However, it currently remains uncertain what was stolen from the house.
The third Alice Springs break-in occurred at a home on Renner Ct around 10.14am on Thursday with the offenders also using an unsecured front door to enter.
The thieves stole a mobile phone, which has since been returned to the owner, and a wallet.
A further two break-ins occurred in Tennant Creek with a home on Ambrose St among the targets.
The break-in occurred between 3.30 and 4pm with a damaged rear window used as the point of entry with some unconfirmed assorted property among the stolen items.
The second break-in occurred on nearby Haddock St with a home broken into between 7.30 and 11am.
The point of entry was a damaged kitchen window with a quantity of cash stolen.
