THE first stage of Palmerston’s most anticipated dining and entertainment precinct is now open.

Pavilions at Gateway Shopping Centre recently opened, with interstate franchise Burger Urge opening its first restaurant in the NT.

Nando’s and The Landmark now have dual entries, and there’s a new children’s play area.

A Gateway Shopping Centre spokeswoman said it was just the start of a “world-class” experience.

“We are currently working with a number of local and national operators to join the Pavilions experience and they will open progressively,” she said.

Darwin CBD Japanese restaurant Ichi Izakaya will be expanding to Palmerston with Ichi Gateway, due to open in the coming weeks.

More outlets are anticipated to open before Christmas.
