The reduction in profits is largely due to Territory venues with gaming licences were forced to close from March 23 to June 5 due to the coronavirus restrictions.
Despite the forced closure, Mindil Beach Casino Resort still saw an 18 per cent increase in their returns for table games, electronic gaming and keno this year with a turnover of about $64 million.
But Lasseters Casino in Alice Springs recorded a 17 per cent decline in profits for table games and pokies with about $18 million.
The report shows there were 1614 licenced gaming machines in the Territory as of June.

“We know in times of crisis that people reach out for ways to self-sooth and unfortunately at times, these strategies create harm and increase the anxiety and depression,” she said.
“We have ongoing concerns around isolation and separation from family and friends which has been the hallmark of this year and how this will continue to impact on us all beyond 2020.”
A NT Gambling Care spokesman said people who think their gambling is getting away from them should call the 24-hour Territory Wide Gambling Helpline 1800 858 858.
