ROBYN Lambley has paid tribute to her son Harry, who died in a motorbike crash on Wednesday.

It’s understood the 23-year-old was holidaying in Greece with friends from Alice Springs when the incident occurred.

Another Alice Springs man is also believed to have been injured in the crash.

Mrs Lambley, the independent Member for Araluen, learnt of the tragedy Wednesday afternoon.

“Harry Digger Lambley brought fun and joy to the world,” Mrs Lambley said.

“Territory born and bred, Harry lived and loved in his short 23 years. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends.”

Mrs Lambley’s parliamentary colleague and Alice Springs local Bill Yan acknowledged the pain Mrs Lambley, husband Craig and daughter Alice were feeling.

“My thoughts are with Robyn, Craig and all family and friends during this tragic time,” Mr Yan said.

“Harry was a loss to family but also a loss to Alice Springs. Harry was a good young Central Australian who’ll be sorely missed.”

Friends and loved ones have also shared their fond memories of Harry, commenting on how much he will be missed in their lives.

“He made our days brighter even underground,” work friend Rachael Avery said.

“We love you Harry, make everyone up there smile like you did for us.”

“Crickets not going to be the same without you my little bro, thank you for the memories that I’ll cherish till we meet again,” John Chisholm wrote.

“Grateful to have known you, and the laughs you always provided — rest peacefully Digger,” Hayley Penna posted.

“That trademark and cheeky grin. Just beyond heartbreaking for his wonderful family.

“He will be missed by so many — Always he will be 23,” Raelene Sidebottom said.

Mix 104.9’s 360 host Katie Woolf also spoke of the family’s heartbreak.

“I start this morning with some incredibly sad news for one of my friends and regular guests on this show Robyn Lambley … and her husband Craig Lambley are heartbroken to say their son has passed away,” Ms Woolf said.

“One thing I know about her and Craig is they are incredibly loving parents. I have had plenty of conversations with Robyn in this studio during the breaks about her kids.

“They are incredibly loving parents and I know I speak for so many in the community when I say I am so sorry for their tragic loss.”
