‘Everyone dug deep and gave their absolute best’: Real Estate Central up for gold in prestigious national awards

One of Darwin’s leading property agencies and its staff are up for major gongs at the Real Estate Institute of Australia 2021 National Awards for Excellence.

ONE of Darwin’s leading property agencies and its staff are in the running for multiple gongs at the Real Estate Institute of Australia 2021 National Awards for Excellence.

Real Estate Central is one of six finalists for the Large Residential Agency of the Year Award.

Sales professional Judy Truong is also up for the Achievement Award.

Office manager Hayley Hosking is vying for Business Development Manager of the Year.

Real Estate Central chief executive Sascha Smithett said the team was honoured to make it to the national finals. “What sets this year apart from the rest was the real resilience and camaraderie shown by the whole team during uncertain times,” she said. “There was not one weak link in the chain, everyone dug deep and gave their absolute best.”

Ms Truong and Ms Hosking were both thrilled at the recognition.

“It is a real privilege to be measured alongside some of the best performers in the country for the Achievement Award,” Ms Truong said.

“So I have already won. Actually winning? Well, that would be a real bonus.”

“I am really excited to be a finalist in this prestigious industry award for Business Development Manager, especially given the awards are held in our own backyard,” Ms Hosking said.

The REIA 2021 National Awards for Excellence is on June 10, at Mindil Beach Casino Resort.
