DARWIN Council’s eScooter program is set to be extended by 12 months following its first year in the CBD.
The Neuron eScooters have proven a success since their inception on January 21, with more than 1600 trips recorded per day and about 400,000 trips taken since January.
Users will be urged to use designated parking areas in the second year and have incentives to wear helmets.
Parking areas will be incorporated at Neuron’s expense, with a goal of improving rider behaviour.
