Top End fire crews are working to contain two separate blazes in Durack and Holtze.
The advice notices were issued on Saturday, with both fires reported to be spreading on more than one front.
Residents in Durack, in the area off Borassus Court and Orania Street, there were no effective containment strategies for the entire perimeter.
Resident reported waterbombing aircraft operating in the area on Saturday.
Bushfires NT said smoke would be visible and the fire may be burning close to the roadside.
“Northern Territory Fire and Rescue Service is primarily undertaking defensive strategies to protect lives and property,” the agency said.
Similar conditions were reported for residents in Holtze between Taylor and Willard roads.
“For the safety of firefighting crews and other vehicles, drivers in the area are urged to slow down, turn on headlights and drive safely for the conditions,” the agency advised.
