Police have charged two men after a 15-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted and dragged into the back seat of a car during broad daylight in Sydney’s south yesterday.

Two men will face court after a teenage schoolboy was allegedly kidnapped in broad daylight off a street in Sydney’s south yesterday.

Police allege the 15-year-old was waiting to cross the road on the corner of Barratt and Woodville streets in Hurstville about 5.45pm when a black Holden Captiva pulled up in front of him.

Two men got out of the car and allegedly began punching and kicking the boy before forcing him into the back seat. The pair then got back into the car and drove away.

Witnesses called police and officers from the Robbery and Serious Crime Squad launched an investigation.

Following inquiries, the boy and two men, aged 20 and 22 attended St George Police Station about 1.30am this morning.

Both men were arrested and charged with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other. They were granted bail to appear in court next week.

Police believe the incident is domestic-related.
