Top End kids will celebrate their last days of freedom before they return to class thanks to the Museum and Art Gallery of the NT’s Friday night youth program.
The event, MAGNIFY, kicks off at 4pm and features a jam packed schedule of good food, arts and crafts, market stalls, and a DJ.
The free activities will embrace the creativity of young people aged 15-25.
MAGNIFY spokeswoman Hayley Ryan said the museum would “transform” into an interactive and vibrant space for the night.
“It’s about getting young people interested in exploring the world of art and science outside of the classroom, while having fun with it,” Ms Ryan said.
“MAGNIFY is also an awesome opportunity for young people to check out Exit Art, which features one of my artworks as a finalist.”
The evening has been curated by City of Darwin’s LAUNCH program in collaboration with MAGNT and runs from 4pm-9pm Friday.
