Glamorous bathrooms, stylish kitchens, luxurious homes and decadent upgrades are the highlights of the Territory’s most prestigious construction awards.
The Master Builders Association NT celebrated the very best of the northern construction industry among 44 categories.
McT Design and Construction took out the Overall Home of the Year with its work on the Lennox Residence.
The modern home on sprawling green lawns also took out the Project Home $850,000-$1m category.
The Overall Subcontractor of the Year went to Northern Trade Solutions, who also took out the Cladding Subcontractor of the Year and Finishes Subcontractor of the Year categories.
FredBuild won the prestigious Judge’s Award for their work on Wintjiri Wiru, which also won the Remote Construction category.
The ARRCS Nhulunbuy Aged Care Facility by Scope Building NT won the President’s Award.
The new building also won the Health Facility and Commercial/Industrial Construction $20m – $50m awards.
Several practical – yet unique – Defence projects also featured among the winners in newly launched awards, including the Norforce Precinct and Larrakeyah Officers Mess.
Master Builders NT chief executive Ben Carter said this year’s entries showcased the “highest calibre” of what Territory construction had to offer.
“The construction industry is underpinned by outstandingly talented, skilled and committed
individuals who power outstanding building businesses,” he said.
“Well done to those who took out this year’s individual excellence awards.”
More than 700 contractors, subcontractors, tradies, professionals, manufacturers, and suppliers from across the Territory came together to celebrate the Territory’s construction industry.
Comedian Dave Hughes and Boys in the Band took to the stage to entertain guests on the Mindil Beach Casino Resort lawns.
