Rumours are circulating that supermodel Miranda Kerr and her husband – the co-founder of Snapchat – are on the Glitter Strip after his giant $200m luxury yacht was spotted in Gold Coast waters.
Snapchat CEO and billionaire Evan Spiegel’s superyacht named Bliss, was seen docked at Marina Mirage on the Gold Coast on Sunday.
The luxury vessel boasts three swimming pools, a spa, a helicopter pad and costs up to $20 million a year to run.
Mr Spiegel, 34, bought the boat when he was in his early 20s after his success from the release of Snapchat in 2011.
Mr Spiegel married Australian Victoria Secret model, Miranda Kerr in 2017 and the couple have been spotted vacationing multiple times on the 95-metre-long boat.
It was unknown whether the power couple were aboard the yacht while it was on the Gold Coast.
Mrs Kerr posted photos of her and Mr Spiegel at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics which was four days before the yacht was spotted.
Gold Coaster Matt Watrach shared a photo of the nine-bedroom yacht cruising beside the city’s iconic Aquaduck.
“Check out the size of the Aquaduck next to it,” he said.
Another resident, Jade Gardiner said: “We drove past it earlier and my son said ‘holy sh*t that’s a big one’”.
The Bliss’ arrival comes four months after late Apple founder, Steve Jobs’ $170m yacht called Venus turned heads on the Gold Coast.
The 78-metre-long vessel – which is now owned by billionaire Laurene Jobs – had six bedrooms and 27 Mac computers on board for entertainment.
The boat was moored next to Australian billionaire Clive Palmer’s $30m ‘Australia’ yacht.
