Geelong detectives are investigating a break-in at the Queens Park Golf Club, after thieves caused thousands of dollars of damages.

Geelong detectives are investigating a burglary at the Queens Park Golf Club, after thieves caused thousands of dollars of damage.

According to police, investigators have been told thieves broke into the Queens Park Road club in Highton at about 1.50am on Tuesday morning.

“It appears nothing was stolen during the incident however, the thieves did cause thousands of dollars in damages breaking into the club,” a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.

“The investigation remains ongoing.”

The club has been contacted for comment.
