Geelong utility Jack Henry has revealed he may line up alongside Tom Hawkins and Jeremy Cameron in the forward line this weekend as the Cats look to end a two-game losing skid.
The Cats won five matches in a row after a 0-3 start to the season, but have dropped their past two matches against Richmond and Fremantle, and will face Greater Western Sydney at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.
Henry, who played his first game for the season in round 10, said he was open to playing “anywhere” to help the team.
“I haven’t thought or really talked about this week and how it’s going to look but I’m happy playing anywhere on the ground to be honest,” he said.
“It’s just great fun being out there and wherever the team needs me I’m happy to try and fill in there.
“It’s good, I got to play forward on the weekend, it’s good fun when you’re playing with Hawk and Jez up there which is nice.
“Clear out the 50, you guys can leave … they’re awesome, they help you a hell of a lot when you play alongside those guys.”
Henry played in the forward line against Fremantle and kicked two goals, as well as having 10 disposals, five marks and three tackles in the loss.
The 192cm Cat was drafted initially as a forward, averaging 15.5 disposals, 4.8 marks, 3.5 tackles and 1.8 goals a game for the Geelong Falcons in his top-age campaign in 2016.
